Reviews about Atlantis Bistro
- 5 / 5By Ripal PatelThank you for a perfect meal. The salmon was so delicate and moist. Cooked to perfection. 10/10 My husband said the eggplant was phenomenal. 18/10 The sauce was killer. I tried it. We enjoyed the true home made tiramisu.
I've only eaten at two other restaurant where I left thinking the owner or chef puts in so much effort to ensure every person who walks in leaves with a special memory and experience and your restaurant and chef achieved this with a warm welcome and accommodating us with our 2 year old. She ate every item so that speaks a lot about the way the food was prepared especially a for a toddler. The service was great. It was nice to have the owner be the host and to have two locals 20+ years speak so highly about quality of meals eaten at Atlantis bistro. We look forward to creating more memories food memories when visiting new Smyrna beachJanuary 27, 2017 - 2 / 5By Noble JennetteIn a word: uninspired. The prices are good and the food is decent, so I bet you can guess at which side of the house my complaint is directed...
Ordered the fresca app and a Caesar salad, waitress forgot anchovies on salad, which wouldn't be a big deal, except I'm pretty sure she forgot to ring in our order as well. There was about a 20-25 minute gap between when I finished the salad and when the meals came out. My girlfriend didn't order salad, so her wait between appetizer and dinner was longer.
Side note: just saying "Guys, your food will be out real soon!" in a chipper voice doesn't fool everyone. I've been working in restaurants for almost 20 years, I've been that guy before, I've managed that guy before, I know that guy. Honesty. Just be honest. Don't be afraid to say you didn't ring it in. Or, don't be afraid to tell your manager, that's why they're there.
Also, if you're going to call yourself a bistro, which I think implies a slightly higher scale of dining than other places, then I think a good manager would come to the table at least once to say hello or whatever. During service it's pretty much your only job. In a place like Atlantis, with seating capacity around 50, a good manager knows, more or less, where every table's ticket time is, and inasmuch whoever was managing tonight should have noticed our wait.January 14, 2017 - 5 / 5By BJ AdamsSat outside on a perfect evening in May. The owner prepared a chicken with lemon, wine and capers sauce over angle hair pasta to my specifications that was not on the menu. I enjoyed a nice bottle of Chardonnay with it as I watched the world go by. What can I say! Have been back many times and will return many more. Enter as a stranger, leave as a friend. Don't miss this place. The owner and staff work hard and at the same time take the time to make sure you are well taken care of period.December 04, 2016
